When my husband started to complain that I never wanted to do anything anymore, I realized that he was right. I used to be quite active, but I had been losing my energy so slowly that I did not really realize it was happening. I missed those days of playing tennis with him or riding bikes with him on the trails. We did walk our dogs still, but our walks were shorter than ever because I was just tired. I decided to make an appointment with my chiropractor in San Francisco. I had not been there for several years, but I knew that was where I needed to be.
I had been to him in the past because of an accident I was involved in. He was able to help me manage that pain much better until it was completely gone, but he had done so much more than just that with his adjustments of my spine. I felt so much better overall physically when I was getting the adjustments from him, and I had a feeling that the same thing would happen again. I did not tell my husband at first that I was going because I wanted to surprise him.
I also wanted to make sure that the treatment plan that he made for me would work too. I did not want to get my husband’s hopes up nor mine, but I still had a pretty good feeling about this. I had an adjustment done when I went in for my first appointment, and I can’t even explain the difference I felt just from that. I was not ready to go mountain climbing, but I still felt amazing. I went a few more times, and then I knew I was up for a bike ride with my husband. He was so excited and happy, and I was too. I am going to keep having regular adjustments done so I don’t have that level of lethargy again!
